Mr. Angus Campbell is a distinguished Consultant Urological Surgeon at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, specializing in renal cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate conditions. Mr. Campbell was ranked 1st in the national selection for training to become a Urological Consultant and subsequently became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Mr. Campbell received specialized training in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP) surgery and Endourology at Luton & Dunstable Hospital, where he honed his skills in performing HoLEP procedures in 2022. Following this, he was appointed to a permanent NHS consultant position at Milton Keynes in 2022 to expand the HoLEP and bladder outflow surgery services.
Mr. Campbell is passionate about research and teaching, contributing significantly to the academic field with numerous publications and presentations. He also plays an active role in training the next generation of urologists.
Outside of his clinical work, Mr. Campbell enjoys sailing and cycling, bringing the same dedication and precision to his hobbies as he does to his practice. He is married with children and values the balance between his professional commitments and family life.
Mr. Angus Campbell is an expert in treating a wide range of urological cancers and benign conditions. His surgical expertise includes:
•Holmium laser enucleation of the prostate for enlarged prostates
•LASER Lithotripsy for kidney stones
•General Urology: including targeted prostate biopsies, vasectomy, and cystoscopy
All cancer and/or complex cases are discussed at multidisciplinary meetings with a team of oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists. Mr. Campbell ensures a collaborative approach, referring patients to specialized colleagues when necessary to provide the most comprehensive care.
